Care Bear Poseable Figures
In 1982, Poseable Care Bear figures were first released into the hearts of Care Bear fans. They were a cute little collection of colorful bears just waiting for someone to take them home! Each Care Bear figure can "pose" or move his / her arms and legs... which is why they are called Pose-able Care Bears! The tummy symbol is brightly painted, along with the little red heart on their tushes. Each Care Bear also has an adorable little tuft of hair on the top of its head.

Poseable Care Bears in the 1980s
There are 15 Poseable Care Bears to collect from the 1980s. As part of this collection, they made two people characters - The Cloud Keeper and Professor Cold Heart - as poseable figures as well. There are also Poseable Care Bear Cousins too!

The first Poseable Care Bears came out in 1982. This first release included 10 different bears: 1) Bedtime Bear, 2) Birthday Bear, 3) Cheer Bear, 4) Friend Bear, 5) Funshine Bear, 6) Good Luck Bear, 7) Grumpy Bear, 8) Love-A-Lot Bear, 9) Tender Heart Bear, and 10) Wish Bear. Then in 1983, three more bears were added to the lineup: 11) Baby Hugs, 12) Baby Tugs, and 13) Grams Bear. And finally in 1985, two more bears were introduced: 14) Share Bear and 15) Champ Bear. The Cloud Keeper and Professor Cold Heart were only sold for one year in 1984.

Did you know? All of the Poseable Care Bears are about 3-inches tall... except Grams Bear is a little taller and Baby Hugs and Baby Tugs are a little bit smaller.

Poseable Care Bears and Accessories The Share Care Bear and Champ Care Bear were introduced in 1985... which marked a change for the Care Bear Poseable Figures. Up until 1985, all Poseable Care Bears were sold as the figure only. But in 1985, all 15 of the Care Bear Poseable Figures now came with an accessory.
