| It is so much fun and super easy to make your own Monchhichi Costume! First, you need to buy or make a basic monkey costume that has brown fur and a monkey tail. Any brown body costume will work - just make sure you add the monkey tail and monkey ears! Next you should paint your face. Look at the Monchhichi Face picture below as an example. All Monchhichis have freckles and brown noses. You can either use face paint or a brown / black eyeliner pencil will also work well.
Now for the finishing touches... It is a nice idea to make your Monchhichi costume even more special by adding a red scarf or baby bib around your neck. You can customize the bib with marker or fabric paint to read, "MONCHHICHI" (like the example above). Another idea is to add a shirt that reads, "Monchhichi". You can also carry around a Monchhichi Doll as well. If you are going to dress-up as a Girl Monchhichi, then you must add a big hair bow to the top of your head - you will look so cute! |
