Items you will need to make a Dilbert Halloween Costume:

Dark Pants
White Shirt (Button-Up Dress Shirt)
Red and Black Strip Tie
Dilbert Mask
Construction Paper
Markers
Pipe Cleaners

How to Make a Dilbert Costume:
First, you will need a pair of black dress slacks. Although, any dark pants will work. Second, you will need a button-down white shirt. It would be a nice attention to detail to put a couple of pens in your shirt pocket. Third, you will need to modify a red and black striped tie. Dilbert's tie always curls up at the end. To accomplish this flipped up tie, you can glue pipe cleaners inside the lining of the tie. After that dries, bend the tie upwards. You may have to fiddle with this, but the end result is worth it. Lastly, you will need to make a Dilbert Mask.

How to make a Dilbert Mask:
There are two basic methods for making your own Dilbert Mask. The first method simply involves construction paper and markers. The second method involves using a thin foam material. Regardless of which method you use, Dilbert should have black round glasses. Cut holes so that you can see properly. Remember, Dilbert does not have pupils - do not draw pupils on the eyes! Take notice that Dilbert has a nose and ears, but he does not have a mouth.
Give it a try! If your Dilbert Costume turns out terribly, then get yourself a "Hello, my name is DILBERT" sticker" so at least people will know who you are trying to be!
